WESTHALL, a parish, with a village, in Blything district, Suffolk; 3 miles NE of Halesworth r. station. Post town, Wangford. Acres, 2,316. Real property, £3,883. Pop., 468. Houses, 112. The property is much subdivided. W. Hall belonged to the Bohuns, and remains with their female representatives. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich. Value, £195.* Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of N. The church has Norman portions. There is a national school.
