WILDBOARCLOUGH, a township in Prestbury parish, Cheshire; 6½ miles SE of Macclesfield. Acres, 4,980. Real property, £2,730; of which £70 are in mines. Pop. in 1851, 447; in 1861, 293. Houses, 65. The decrease of pop. was caused by discontinuance of work in a carpet printing establishment. Crag Hall is the seat of J. Burch, Esq. There is a chapel of ease.
