YORKSHIRE (North) AND CLEVELAND RAILWAY, a railway system in the NE of Yorkshire: comprising a line from the Whitby and Pickering at Grosmont to the Northeastern at Picton near Yarm, a branch to Guisbrough, and several other branches; constructed at periods from 1854 till 1861; and now incorporated with the Northeastern.
