RODEN (The), a river of Salop; rising in Whixall Moss, near the boundary with Wales; and running about 18 miles south-south-eastward, past Lee-Brockhurst, Moreton-Corbet, Shawbury, Roden, and Bedington, to the Tern opposite Walcott.
