ROTHERAS, or Rotherwas, a quondam chapelry in Dinedor parish, Herefordshire; on the river Wye, 2 miles E S E of Hereford. Its church became part of afarm's buildings. R. House belonged, in the time of James I., to Sir Roger Bodenham; is said to have thengiven lodging for a night to the king; and belongs now toT. Bodenham, Esq.
