It includes Hanging-Heaton, Earls-Heaton, Chidswell, Crickenley, and Shawcross hamlets. Acres, 2,393. Real property, £13,921; of which £1,750 are in mines, and £52 in quarries. Pop. in 1851, 5,059; in 1861, 6,238. Houses, 1,290.
