WADEBRIDGE, a small sea-port town in Egloshayle and St. Breock parishes, Cornwall; on the river Camel, 6 miles NW by W of Bodmin. It is connected by a tram railway with Bodmin; and it has a head post-office‡ designated Wadebridge, Cornwall, a banking office, two chief inns, a seventeen-arched bridge, a small dock, three dissenting chapels, a weekly market on Friday, cattle-markets eight times a year, and four annual fairs.
