BRISTOL AND PORTISHEAD RAILWAY, a railway from the Bristol and Exeter at Bedminster, westnorth-westward to Portishead, with works at Portishead. It comprises railway lines, 10 miles long, opened in 1867, and a pier at Portishead, and other works there, required to be completed in 1870.
