EDSTONE, a hamlet in Wootton-Wawen parish, Warwick; on the river Alne, 3¼ miles SE of Henley-in-Arden. Pop., 51. Edstone House is the seat of the Daltons. Somerville, the poet, who died in 1742, was a native.
