FRAISTHORPE, a township and a parish in Bridlington district, E. R. Yorkshire. The township lies on the coast, 2¼ miles SSE of Carnaby r. station, and 4¼ S by W of Bridlington. Pop., 85. Houses, 11. The parish includes also the township of Auburn; and its post town is Bridlington Quay, under Hull. Acres, 2, 153; of which 113 are water. Real property, £2, 317. Pop., 101. Houses, 13. The living is a vicarage, annexed to the vicarage of Carnaby, in the diocese of York.
