(in Notts, 1 mile E.), Leicestershire, on left bank of river Soar, 3 miles S. of Trent Junction and 5½ miles NW. of Loughborough-par., 2260 ac., pop. 2168; town and township, pop. 2142; P.O., T.O.; has basket-making, malting, and brewing; at Kegworth the river Soar is crossed by a stone bridge.
