Weaver.-- river, Cheshire; rises near Shropshire border, and flows NE. and NW. past Nantwich, Over, Northwich, and Weaverham to the Mersey, 2½ miles below Runcorn; is 45 miles long, and is navigable to Northwich for vessels of 200 tons.
