(mostly in bor. of Liverpool, and containing Bootle, Everton, and Kirkdale), 20,096 ac., pop. 220,353; township, 1944 ac., pop. 18,715; town, 3 miles NW. of Central Station, Liverpool, 1907 ac., pop. 18,536; P.O., T.O., called Walton; is a local government district, and has numerous fine villas.
