Westerton, a mansion in Logie parish, Stirlingshire, in the northern vicinity of Bridge of Allan. Its late owner, Gen. Sir Jas. Edw. Alexander, C. B., F.R.S. E. (1803-85), held 181 acres in the shire, valued at £1102 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 39, 1869.
