Mondynes (anc. Monachedin), a farm in Fordoun parish, Kincardineshire, 1½ mile SSW of Drumlithie station. A monolith here, 6 or 8 feet high, and called the Court-stane or King-stone, perhaps commemorates the murder of Duncan II. in 1094.
