Real property, with Kewstoke, £12,194. Pop., 980. Houses, 195. The manor belongs to J. Stephens, Esq. W. Hill is noticed in our article on Weston-super-Mare. Limestone and calamine abound. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, £312.* Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church is later English. There are Wesleyan, U. free Methodist, and Bible Christian chapels, and a national school.
