Bonestou was one of the "Three Hundreds of Newport", often being grouped with Sigelai and Moulsoe, but a separate muster roll exists for the hundred from as late as 1831 (see http://www.genfair.co.uk/product_list.php?sid=40&page=7, accessed 17 July 2013), so it is unclear when it ceased to exist. According to the VCH, "in Bonestou Hundred were Cold Brayfield, Castle Thorpe, Gayhurst, Hanslope, Haversham, Lathbury, Lavendon, Little Linford, Olney, Ravenstone, Stoke Goldington, Tyringham with Filgrave, and Weston Underwood" (http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=62582, accessed 17 July 2013).
