This nCube holds the quota each candidate had to achieve for automatic election under the Single Transferrable Vote system, which was used in University Constituencies between 1918 and 1948. Votes in excess of the quota were then transferred to other candidates from the same party. The quota for a seat was computed from the total number of electors and the number of seats for the constituency.
