Youngs' gives the PL Union status of this unit an end date of 1904 replaced by Bermondsey PL parish. This actually reflects a change in the constituent parishes which in 1904 were all abolished to enlarge Bermondsey AP/CP which became the sole constituent parish. The Union continued unchanged geographically, from 1904 onwards it was listed as Bermondsey in Poor Law Reports, whilst the Registration District in Census reports was listed as St Olave (Bermondsey).
