WOODRISING, a parish in Mitford district, Norfolk; 2 miles WNW of Hingham, and 4½ W by S of Hardingham r. station. Post town, Shipdham, under Thetford. Acres, 1,363. Real property, £1,925. Pop., 97. Houses, 24. W. Hall is the residence of Viscount Chelsea. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich. Value, £250. Patron, J. Weyland , Esq. The church is good.
