HASLINGFIELD, a village and a parish in Chesterton district, Cambridge. The village stands on the river Cam, 2 miles NNE of Harston r. station, and 5½ SW by S of Cambridge; and has a post office under Cambridge. The parish comprises 2, 527 acres. Real property, £3, 440. Pop., 762. ...


Houses, 150. The property is divided aniong a few. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Ely. Value, £657. * Patron, John Mitchell, Esq. The church is early English, and was recently in disrepair. There are a national school, with £45 a year from endowment, and other charities with £67.
