SCOLE, or Osmondiston, a village and a parish in Depwade district, Norfolk. The village stands on the river Waveney, 1¾ mile E by S of Diss r. station; and has a head post-office, ‡ of the name of Scole, extensiveflaxworks, and a fair on Easter Tuesday. The parish comprises 821 acres. ...
