In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Brentford End like this:

BRENTFORD END, a hamlet in Isleworth parish, Middlesex; 1 mile WSW of Brentford. A chapel, with friary or fraternity of All Angels, was founded here by Somerset, chaplain of Henry VI.; and given, in the time of Edward VI., to the Duke of Somerset.

The location is just west of Brentford, across the river Brent, and is where the name "Brentford End" appears on the 1874 1:10,560 map as viewable on Landmark Information's Old Maps web site (http://www.old-maps.co.uk, accessed 3/9/2011).
