BINTREE, or Bintry, a parish in Mitford district, Norfolk; 3 miles NE of Elmham r. station, and 5½ WNW of Reepham. It has a post office under Thetford. Acres, 1,455. Real property, £2,853. Pop., 406. Houses, 90. The property is divided among a few. The living is a rectory, united with the rectory of Themelthorpe, in the diocese of Norwich. Value, £462. Patron, Lord Hastings. The church is good; and there are a Baptist chapel, and charities £47.
