Place:

Treganol  Montgomeryshire

In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Treganol like this:

TREGANOL, a township in Llanwyddelan parish, Montgomery; 6½ miles NNW of Newtown. Pop., 221.

The location is the hamlet called "Adfa", which contains modern "Treganol" addresses. Other than that, no more precise indication of the location of Treganol has been found beyond it being within Llanwyddelan, and the name has not been found in a search of topographic maps including early six inch maps.
