This location, shown on the OS New Popular map, corresponds with the only Rhos Ddu in Denbighshire in the "National Gazetteer of Wales" (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/geogdata/ngw/r.htm). Melville Richards' "Welsh Administrative and Territorial Units" (1969) says that Rhos Ddu was in Wrexham.
