MEOLSE (LITTLE), a township in West Kirby parish, Cheshire; on the coast, near Hoylake r. station, 8½ miles W of Birkenhead. Acres, 19,926; of which 19,275 are foreshore-water. Real property, £1,000. Pop., 169. Houses, 32.
