BLEDISLOE, a tything and a hundred in Gloucester. The tything is in Awre parish, 2 miles SE of Newnham. The hundred contains the parishes of Awre, Alvington, and Lydney. Acres, 16,741. Pop., 4,784. Houses, 877.
