Guiting  Gloucestershire


In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Guiting like this:

GUYTING, a sub-district in Winchcomb district, Gloucester. It contains the parishes of Guyting Power and Guyting Temple, ten other parishes, and a chapelry. Acres, 36, 568. Pop., 5, 974. Houses, 1, 308.
