Glenorchy  Argyll


In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described Glenorchy like this:

Glenorchy and Inishall, united par., NE. Argyllshire, 146,588 ac., pop. 1105; Glenorchy Lodge is ½ mile from Dalmally.

Located approximately in the middle of Glen Orchy (by the "R" in its name on the New Popular map).
