YAFFORTH, a chapelry in Danby-Wiske parish, N. R. Yorkshire; 1½ mile W of Northallerton r. station. Post town, Northallerton. Acres, 1,300. Real property £2,550. Pop., 2.04. Houses, 37. The property is much subdivided. The living is annexed to Danby-Wiske. The church is good.
