SILTON (Nether), a chapelry in Leake parish, N. R. Yorkshire; 6½ miles E of Northallerton r. station. Post town, Thirsk. Real property, £1,702. Pop. 178. Houses, 45. The living is annexed to Leake. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
