MORTON-UPON-SWALE, a township in AinderbySteeple parish, N. R. Yorkshire; on the Leyburn railway, 3¼ miles WSW of Northallerton. Acres, 1,533. Real property, £2,433; of which £50 are in the railway. Pop., 286. Houses, 60.
