BRAMWITH (Kirk), a parish in Doncaster district, W. R. Yorkshire; on the Stainforth and Keadby canal, and on the Doncaster and Keadby railway, 6¾ miles NE by N of Doncaster. It has a station, of the name of Bramwith, on the railway; it includes the hamlets of Braithwaite and Hawkhouse-Green, and part of the hamlet of Kirkhouse-Green; and its Post Town is Stainforth, under Rotherham. ...
Acres, 1,260. Real property,-£2,564. Pop., 226. Houses, 54. The property is much subdivided. The living is a rectory in the diocese of York. Value, £517.* Patron, the Duchy of Lancaster. The church is good.
