FARNDALE-HIGH QUARTER, a township in Kirkby-Moorside parish, N. R. Yorkshire; 4 miles N of Kirkby-Moorside. It includes the hamlet of Bransdale-East Side. Acres, 8, 950. Pop., 338. Houses, 54. There is a chapel of ease.
