YEO (The), a river of Dorset and Somerset; rising at Seven Sisters' springs, near Milborne-Port; running about 8½ miles west-by-southward, past Sherborne, to the vicinity of Yeovil; and going thence about 15 miles northward and westward, paht Madford and Ilchester, to the Parret at Langport.
