PRESTOLEE, a chapelry in Prestwich parish, Lancashire; near Prestwich town. It was constituted in 1863; and its post town is Prestwich, under Manchester. Pop., about 1, 600. The living is a p. curacy in the diocese of Manchester. Value, £300.* Patrons, Mrs. J. B. Crompton and W. J. Rideout, Esq. The church was built and endowed by the late Mrs. Crompton; and it has a largememorial window to her, put up in 1866.
