Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for SALWARPE (The)

SALWARPE (The), a river of Worcester; rising on the Lickey hills; and running about 14 miles south-westward, past Bromsgrove, Stoke-Prior, Droitwich, and Salwarpe, to the Severn at Hawford-bridge. A canalclosely follows it from Droitwich to the Severn.
