THIRLSTANE, a fine mansion adjacent to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. It was built by a Mr. Scott, at a cost of nearly £90,000; passed to the late Lord Northwick; was noted, in his time, for a rich picture-gallery: and is in the Ionic style.
