It includes the hamlets of Gibsmere, Notown, and Goverton; and its Post Town is Thurgarton, under Southwell. -Acres, 1,550. Real property, £2,803. Pop., 332. Houses, 72. The property is subdivided. Bleasby Hall is the seat of the Kelhams. The parish is a meet for the Rufford hounds. The living is a vicarage, united with the vicarage of Morton, in the diocese of Lincoln.
