CAPEL-CYNON, a chapelry in Llandisilio-Gogo parish, Cardigan; 8 miles NNE of Newcastle-Emlyn r. station. Post Town, Newcastle-Emlyn, under Carmarthen. Pop., 413. Houses, 90. Henry VII. encamped here on his march to Bosworth. Fairs are beld on Holy Thursday and on the second Thursday after 10 Oct. The chapelry was constituted in 1859. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St. David's. Value, £100. Patron, the Bishop of St. David's.
