LLANFFLEWYN, a parish in the district and county of Anglesey; 6 miles NW of Llanerchymedd r. station, and 8 NE of Holyhead. Post town, Gwindy, under Llangefni, Anglesey. Acres, 1,265. Real property, £1,094. Pop., 128. Houses, 20. Some Roman antiquities have been found; and there are traces of ancient camps. The living is a p. curacy, annexed to the rectory of Llanrhyddlad, in the diocese of Bangor. The church is dedicated to St. Flewyn, and is very ancient.
