Durn, hill and stream, Fordyce par., Banffshire; hill, with remains of ancient camp, 2 miles SW. of Portsoy, alt. 651 ft.; stream, flows 6 m. NE. to the sea at Portsoy; on N. side of hill is a quarry, with a beautiful variety of quartz, exported for use in the potteries.
