Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Grandtully

Grandtully, ry. sta. and inn, Dull par., Perthshire, on river Tay, 4¾ miles NE. of Aberfeldy; 2 miles SW. of sta. is Grandtully Castle, a fine old baronial mansion of the 16th century; in vicinity are vestiges of the original castle (15th century), the remains of the old church (St Mary's), and Grandtully chapel of ease, ransed to quoad sacra status in 1883.
