Rocester, par. and vil. with ry. sta. (Rocester Junction), Staffordshire, near the confluence of the Dove and the Churnet, 4½ miles N. of Uttoxeter, 2623 ac., pop. 1220; P.O., T.O.; an abbey was founded here in 1146.
