Pavilion, a mansion in Melrose parish, Roxburghshire, on the left bank of the Tweed, near the influx of Allan Water, 2½ miles NW of Melrose town. It was the Scottish seat of the Lords Somerville, the nineteenth and last of whom died in 1870; and it now belongs to the seventeenth Lord's daughter, the Hon. Mrs Henry, who holds 4746 acres in Roxburgh and Berwick shires, valued at £2531 per annum.Ord. Sur., sh. 25, l865.
