Glenhalmadale, a glen of Kilbride parish, in the N of Arran, Buteshire, winding 2 ¼ miles north-north-westward to Glenranza, at a point 5 furlongs SE of the head of Loch Ranza. It is traversed by the road from Sannox to Loch Ranza, and contains a slate quarry.Ord. Sur., sh. 21, 1870.
