Curriehill, an estate, with a mansion, in Currie parish, Edinburghshire, 1 mile SW of Curriehill station on the Caledonian, this being 5½ miles SW of Edinburgh. A castle, a little W of the mansion, figured as a place of strength in the time of Queen Mary, being held by the Queen's opponents. See Currie.
