A footnote in The Statement of the number of paupers relieved on the July 1908 states: "On the 25th March 1908, the Parish of Bury St Edmunds was added to the Thingoe Union and the name of the Union was changed to Bury St. Edmunds." This unit has been edited, so the previous end date has been added to the registration District status and the PLU and unit end date amended to this date.
