In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Little Bricett like this:

BRICETT (Little), a hamlet in Ofton parish, Suffolk; 4½ miles ESE of Bildeston. Pop., 25. It was formerly a parish and a rectory; but has no church.
